Morobe Governor Kelly Naru has announced a new Provincial cabinet and in the same breath announced a drastic cut to the number of provincial ministries.
Nine Assembly members who previously held portfolios have been axed from this new line up.
Governor Naru said this is to comply with legal requirements and to improve service delivery.
The swearing in ceremony was held yesterday at the Tutumang or the Provincial Assembly.
