With the Moresby South Rugby League 9s competition coming to an end, Sport Minister, Justin Tkatchenko, confirmed the availability of the Sir Hubert Murray Stadium to stage the grand final.
Four teams will play in the grand finals this weekend at the Sir Hubert Murray Stadium.
In the men’s Under 19 division, Clayfield Hunters are up against Southern Suns, and in the A Grade final Talai Spartans will lock horns with the Gabutu Dragons.
This will be the first time a suburban competition will be hosted by one of the newly refurbished venues, following the Pacific Games.
President of Moresby South Rugby, Brown Murema, was thankful to the Sport Ministry for supporting the game.
The winner of the A Grade finals cup will walk away with K8,000, and the runner-up pocketing K5000. While in the Under 19s, the cup winner will be rewarded with K4,000 and runner-up K2,500.
