Madang FC Makes It

Updates on NSL Team Madang FC’s plight:

The club was able to send off to New Zealand 13 of its players and one official today with 6 other players to join them tomorrow.

This was confirmed by MFC Chairman, Dr Miok Komolong.

It was a different story two days ago, when the Chairman, along with some key members of the PNG football fraternity, appealed to the public for cash donations to make this trip possible.

And now, support has been shown, as this team leaves for New Zealand, carrying the PNG Flag, to compete in pool C of the OFC Champions League.

Though the team still needs additional funds to finance their stay in New Zealand, until they return on the 4th of next month and they are still in need of the public’s continuous support.

They will be meeting the likes of host Auckland FC in this campaign.
