National Health Secretary, Pascoe Kase, says that the Laloki Psychiatric Hospital is operating without a board to oversee operations.
This came to light when EMTV News queried if there was a board in place, to control issues that have uncovered recently.
“And I see that the hospital management operates a budget. They have a budget, they are accountable for their own budget because they have a Chief Executive Officer,
“When things are good, they just quietly do their business. But when things get out of hand, they start making noise and then blame the National Health Department, as if we do run the hospital as well,
“So that’s something that I have discovered. So I would like a board in place so they can take control of this very important state institution,” he said.
