Korry Holdings Adds New Electronic Fuel Injection Pump into Business

Nationally-owned business, Korry Holdings Limited, has added a modern fuel injector pump to its operation.

The calibration fuel injector pump was purchased recently from China and is now in operation at the Port Moresby Fuel Injection Repair Shop near Boroko. The new machine is operated with a computerised software.

The calibration fuel injector pump is the first, and the only one in the country.

Korry Holdings Managing Director, Michael Korry, says it is time PNG taps into modern technology and encourages the growth of businesses owned by locals.

Mechanical Engineer, Amando Ivadilista, while explaining the basic features of the pump says, the modern trend of machines mainly heavy duty trucks and cars can be overhauled with this modern technology.

Local staff have been trained in China for two weeks on how to operate the pump.

The business began from humble beginnings as a security firm but is now venturing into fuel pump calibration.
