The Eastern Highlands town of Kainantu is expected to see a continued transformation this year as electoral development programs are slowly rolled out.
The police cell which was condemned last year has been renovated and there’s an ongoing push to improver sewerage and water systems.
All this are against a backdrop of social problems and a high rate of drug abuse.
