Hekari Duo Off to Fiji

Two key players from Hekari United will taketheir talents tothe Nothern Fijian DistrictoLabasa to play inthe ‘Battle ofthe Giants’ Tournament.

Midfielder David Muta and defender Koriak Upaiga departed for Fiji on Friday to be part ofthe LABeSA Soccer team in Fiji to participate inthe “Battle ofthe Giants” tournament.

 

They arethe second batch of players from Hekari to be part of an exchange program playing in anther country.

 

Muta has been by farthe most loyal player onthe Hekari team apart from Kema Jack and gives allthe credit back to his sponsor and club owner.

 

Muta says imparting knowledge to local players is of great importance.

 

Koraik Upaiga from Mt Hagen has come throughthe ranks and has earned his spot to be part of team LABeSA where he will meet some familiar faces such as Taniela Waka and Pita Belatoga.

 

Wira Wama and Kema Jack werethe two players from Hekari who first took part inthe exchange program last year, and this partnership can only get better from here on.
