The U.S. Embassy of Papua New Guinea has announced the two successful recipients for the 2016-2017 Fulbright Graduate Scholarship Program.
They are Eli Direye, a Research Analyst with the Bank of PNG, and Poigeno Nazila, a Standards Engineer with the National Broadcasting Corporation.
Both were selected for their academic merit and leadership potential.
Direye will commence his Master’s Program in Economics at Kent State University in Cleveland, Ohio while Nazila will enrol at Northeastern University in Telecommunication Systems Management in Boston, Massachusetts.
The J. William Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.
