Hohola Governors Cup went into its playoff round yesterday, atthe Ipi Park Rugby Oval. The Cup is sponsored bythe NCD Governor, Powes Parkop.
The competition has been running for seven days and will conclude today withthe Grand Final atthe Kone Tigers Oval.
The Plate Qualifiers was played today between two teams: Kaugere Pythons inthe Yellow/Green and Junction Dogs inthe Maroon.
The second half ofthe game sawthe boys in Maroon, Junction Dogs, step-uptheir game asthey made sure to breakthe score line inthe dying minutes with a try to 4 all intothe full-time siren.
The semi-final winners ofthe competition played yesterday will go intothe main Grand Final Play off today atthe Kone Tigers oval.
