Governor Haoda: Education A Concern

Education standards in Central province are declining, and this has become a concern.

Central province has produced many professionals since the Colonial era, and this decline in Education standards today, means more effort need to be put in, to revive the standard.

The Central provincial Government is concerned that many of its young generation today, are not making it into Tertiary Institutions. Unlike during Colonial days, this province has produced some of the pioneers in various government and private organizations.

Central Governor, Kila Haoda, said high school standards are dropping, and they are sending fewer students to universities. He said this is a big concern for his government, and they will address it with all relevant stakeholders.

Governor Haoda, said this during his visit to Pelagai village on Aroma Coast yesterday. During his visit there, he officially opened the Pelagai sports oval, and allocated funds for various organized groups in the village.

Also accompanying him was Provincial Administrator, Gei Raga, who announced that they will continue to deliver to the people.
