GOC Chairlady Enthusiastic for Games

Chairlady of the Games Organising Committee, Emma Waiwai, remains optimistic on the rollout of this year’s Games, and believes her team has done everything possible, in ensuring it will be one of the best Games ever.

With just 4 days remaining till the region’s biggest sporting event, the GOC is now in full swing with the Games operations.

While the Games fever is on the rise, with team PNG continuing to receive overwhelming support nationwide, members of the Games Organising Committee are now working around the clock, to ensure all games operations are steady, and in place for the opening, and the duration of the Games

Chairlady of the Games Organising Committee, Emma Waiwai, in an interview with Road to Port Moresby 2015, spoke of the operational procedures in place.

With world class sporting facilities and infrastructures, and the help and assistance of the national government, Waiwai believes Papua New Guinea will be able to pull off, a memorable event that only comes once in a lifetime, on home soil.

With a number of teams already in the country, and more expected to come within the next few days, the pacific rivalry certainly has begun.

This afternoon, team PNG had their farewell, and are ready to move into the Games Village, as they prepare, mentally and physically for what will be a memorable occasion for all.
