Gaire Aims for Netball National Championships

The Gaire Netball Association has set their sights to compete at the upcoming Netball National Championships next month.

The competition looks at getting more girls involved and to develop the skills of those interested and improve the growth of the code in the village.

Netball is a popular sport in the village with participation growing every week.

In the competitions inaugural year, the Gaire Netball Association looks to get more young women involved in the sport and see it grow.

The Association also aims to field teams to compete at the National Championships in September.
The village has seen a lot of interest in thesport, with girls as young at 7 and 8 eager to be part of the competition.

Gaire Netball Association hopes to see more young women get involved in the sport, and as see the competition grow and become more competitive in the coming years.
