The Department of Finance yesterday launched its three year corporate plan, as well as its website andthe signing of a performance agreement.
Officiated bythe minister responsible, James Marape, staff can now take lead in implementingthe government’s budget.
Senior management and staff ofthe department including sister departments and stakeholders were present for the occasion held atthe Gateway Hotel in Port Moresby yesterday.
Secretary for the DepartmentoSteven Gibson highlighted tothe staffthe three impact projects it plans to achieve underthe three year corporate plan. It was mainly to set up properlythe public management systems. Bet he said it can only be achieved with commitment fromthe staff.
