Papua New Guinearsquo;s new Auditor General Philip Nauga was officially sworn in today.
Chief Justice Sir SalamoInjia signedthe instruments atthe Waigani Court House.
To mark this day,the auditor general’s office also launched its new corporate uniforms.
Speaking after his official declaration, Mr Nauga said one of his priorities is to improver staff capacity withinthe auditor general’s office.
This is to ensure services are effectively delivered in line withthe National Government’s vision.
Thenthe corporate uniform’s launching showcased inthe modeling.
Mr Nauga toldthe staffthe uniform istheir identity and challengedthem to wear it with pride.
The uniforms were made using micro fiber material. It will be worn three days weekly, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
All staff will comply bythe attire policy guideline.
