Second divorce may seem unlikely in one’s lifetime but not for a bunch of sailors who proved they are still number one for two years running in the annual 3 Peaks event in Port Moresby.

3 Peaks is a global event which involves sailing, swimming and running. The 2018 and 2019 champions proved “Just Divorced” back to back is possible after consecutive victories.

From the start, the last winners were playing with a handicap from last year.
Early on en-route to Manubada in the “A” class yacht category, they were trailing behind, however, the never say die – team led by skipper, Cameron Taylor sailed through. Just Divorced sailed a culminating time of 1 hour, 48 minutes and 1 second.

The team was supported by strong finishers in swimming and running from Ella and Tara Taylor.

They both belted the last stretch up to Ben’s Peak to win in an overall time of 2 hours, 44 minutes and 51 seconds.

“We are quite happy with ourselves, we didn’t know we were (sic) gonna win it, we just did our best,” said Ella and Tara Taylor.

“..it was great fun!” They continued.
