Westpac Take on Mighty Datec

The Westpac team, in the Port Moresby Corporate Netball Competition’s Premier Division, is set for a grand final showdown with defending champions Datec.

Datec, after a hard fought out win against the Australian High Commission, booked their place earlier and are poised to take on the competitions’ silent achievers.

Australian vice-Captain, Emily Flowers, had conceded last week that fitness did let their team down in the final game, and Westpac will be hoping not to fall into the same situation again.

Datec will be boosted even knowing that young Shooter, Kimberly Raula, has been virtually unstoppable in the D, after dominating late against their opponents in the semi-finals.

Westpac have their own goal prodigy with lanky Goal shooter, Elina Ripason, in their ranks, and they will be looking to provide her as many opportunities to score, as possible.

But Westpac has a belief in their team to do well and the fighting spirit was clear after good fight backs following early season defeats.

With 8 grand finals already under their belt, Westpac will be hoping for number 9.
