Vipers Set For Tigers

Digicel Cup defending Champions, Port Moresby Vipers are optimistic to repeat their performance a couple of weeks ago against competition leaders, Lae Snax Tigers.

The fifth-placed Vipers outfit looked ready to plunge in their venoms on Tigers this weekend.

Adrenaline was pumping through the City Pride as they took the Port Moresby International School sports oval.

The 22 man Team are certain to retain the bragging rights despite their losing record, they’re just a few plays away from having a perfect season.

Vipers’ 18-16 misery caused by the Gurias last weekend, has called for extra duties in the on-field department.

Larsen Marabe has returned to the team, making a first appearance in the last weekend’s game.

Delighted Tarum gave credits to his boys to book a spot in the top eights, and says they would like to keep the flame burning right to the end.

Under the coaching of Lenard Tarum, the boys will no easy beats when they take on the competition leaders, Lae Snax Tigers this weekend, at Lae Rugby League Oval.
