Students in danger: Back to school rush hour

The back to school rush hour is seeing many students’turn up late and traffic Congestion and long bus routes arethe cause.

As early as six o’clock inthe morning, bus stops inthe city were packed with students’andthe general public.

With fear of turning up late in schools, students’rushed to hop oPMV Beses.

It was dangerous as some were squeezingthemselves into buses with half oftheir bodies hanging out ofthe doors.

Safety is an issue in all schools and thus teachers of Ted Diro Primary School make time to stand atthe school crossing to guidetheir students’

Miss Keto says, withthe buses provided bythe Governor for NCD Powes Parkop last year,they’ve seen an improverment inthe student’s punctuality.

While some students’are in school,these schoolchildren andtheir parents have been in front of this department store since 7.30 inthe morning.

One concerned parent says if uniforms are sold in schools, it will be easy for both students’and parents.

Lessons are in progress and schools are expected to run smoothly next week.
