The International Training Institute celebrated its 15th Anniversary at the Holiday Inn in Port Moresby.
From a 7 computer office space with 30 students in 1999, the International Training Institute has now grown to a 3500 student campus, exceeding its quota of student intake in 2003, offering Certificate and Diploma Courses in the fields of Business Management, Human Resource Management, Accounting, Information Technology and Advance Diploma in Accounting .
ITI celebrated its 15th anniversary to commemorate the commitment and perseverance of long-term employees and staff and those who have come on broad recently.
Also present at the event was the President of PNG Training and Development Society, George Arua, who commended the ITI staff for imparting courses that continue to mold and equip students with trade relevant skills in their respective industries.
Pioneer student and now business-man, John Vada, had the rare opportunity to work alongside the father and son duo after he completed his studies at ITI.
With its main strategy of providing affordable and quality education to Papua New Guineans, ITI is now established in Lae, Kimbe, Warangoi and Kokopau in East New Britain, and more recently, in Bougainville.
Alongside the Sri Lankan community, ITI’s corporate clients, and spouses, all staff members from various departments were awarded with a crystal plaque each.
