Charlie Paranda managed to find the back of the net in 42nd minutes into half time, having Oro comfortably leading.
Eastern Stars however, were able to equalize through the second half with brilliant a strike by forward, Richard Sios.
Both teams have bolstered their respective team rosters in the hopes of ending Hekari FCs reign as PNGs football kings
Eastern Stars managed a goal, winning the match at 2 points to 1 at the final hooter.
The Oro football club will need to pick up on the pace of preparation. This match is used as a trial to select a final 20- man squad. The club has lost some prominent players to other clubs and will now heavily rely on the youngsters.
