Mell Research and Marketing Consultants (MRMC) have expanded their boundaries, taking on the challenge to publish and launch the maiden issue of The Mell Review magazine.
MRMC founder and Managing Director, Michael Mell, said his magazine is dedicated to promoting only positive, progressive and productive development in PNG.
Mell claims he is possibly the first and only public opinion pollster in PNG.
If you ask him why he thought so, he will tell you of his successful predictions of the 2012 national election outcomes.
His next big project is a magazine he claims provides independent reviews, by prominent figures in society highlighting social, political, and economic developments that are significant to PNGs progress.
He personally believes that by fostering positive development alone and leaving out negativity, Papua New Guinea will develop progressively.
National Minister for Communication, Jimmy Miringtoro, officiated the launching saying that Mell’s initiative helped close the information dissemination gap.
He stressed it was important that information “trickle” down to citizens so they are aware of government policies, development agendas, laws and important social, economic and political issues.
In that manner, people are better equipped to make well-informed choices for their welfare, and that of the nation.
Guest speaker and Managing Director of National Development Bank, Moses Liu, said it was high time we stopped relying on outside pollsters telling us the state of our countries affairs and support our own countrymen.
