Paru Aihi’s goes to Tubusereia for campaign rally

With only eleven days remaining before campaign ends and the start of polling, candidates are utilizing the remaining days.

On The Queen’s Birthday Long weekend, People’s National Congress candidate and Sitting MP for Kairuku Hiri Paru Aihi was busy campaigning at Tubuserea village and Apanaipa village.

First he took a west along the Hirtano and slowly cruzed on down the Magi highway to Tubuserea village. It was a convoy of vehicles of about 70, full of supporters and officials. Sitting MP for Kairuku Hiri Paru Aihi who in a recent survey conducted by Michael Mell of University of Goroka shows his 72 percent of retaining his seat based on the development contributions done to his electorate.

He told the people about the developments his done over the last five years. These include basic services, health education, support to churches and roads among others.

He also told the people his visions in the next term which include to continue delivering more services and to expect more.

His next visited Apanaipa village, along the Hirtano village, bordering Central and Gulf provinces.   There he was welcomed by Chiefs from the different clans who gave their blessing to support him in his next term.  

Despite being one of the biggest electorate measuring 10, 000 square kilometres, Mr Aihi has delivered basic goods and services with plans to continue on.  The Kairuku Hiri Electorate is the biggest one in the Central Province covering villages along the Hirtano Highway, Magi Highway, Sogeri – Koiari villages and Hiri west villages  Porebada, Papa Lealea Boera, Portion 152 villages just to name a few.
