In this episode:
We take you up to the Southern Highlands Province where relief work continues for the victims of the 7.5 magnitude earthquake that struck on the 26th of February 2018. The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) distributed building materials to the people at the Urila Care Center in Poroma to help the people build their homes. This came about after IOM ran trainings with the local people under the
Build Back Safe Shelter training. This training aims to help the people be more resilient and know how to build safe shelters.
We also feature the distribution of dignity/ hygiene kits to breastfeeding and lactating mothers in Mongol, Upper Mendi by the United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA). These dignity kits contain the basic necessities women need for their personal hygiene.
