More than twenty families whose houses burnt by a mob in October are still waiting for police to arrest those responsible.
Thirty seven houses were destroyed in the attack which came after drunken youths stoned a passing vehicle.
This is one of several incidents in Lae that have divided communities along ethnic lines.
