No Formal Complaint for Gordons Bus stop Murder

Police in Port Moresby are still waiting for relatives of the woman who was murdered at Gordons Bus Stop, to lay an official complain.

NCD Metropolitan Superintendent Perou N’Dranou said, while the news on her murder was circulated on social media, police can only conduct an investigation based on a formal complaint.

Police believe the woman was stabbed after an argument with her husband at the Gordons Bus Stop.

These were some of the photos of the incident which were circulated and shared on social media.

This incident has raised more concerns on the violence against women and girls.

But there is no formal complaint registered with police

No suspects have been arrested and police are asking families of the deceased to report the matter so proper police investigations can occur.
