Margaret Lavaki aiming for Professionals

Riding off an impressive win atthe Coca Cola Morobe Open, Margaret Lavaki will be a force amongthe women inthPNG Golf Open.

She first took up a golf club atthe age of 13 and has never looked back ever since.

Margaret 19 from Gulf and Morobe parentage isthe last sibling ofthe Lavaki family and was influenced by her fther to take up Golf.

With a handicap of 10, Margaret knows she will be up against steep opposition inthe like of Sophia Cragnolini and Kristen Seko.

The 2013 SP ExporPNG Open is set to tee off withthe Professionals today. Many participating Golfers took part in today’s Sharp ProAM to familiarisethemselves withthe Golf Course.

Today’s wether conditions proverd worthy and organisers and participants will be hoping for perfect Golfing wether overthe next few days.

The 18 hole course will be challenging for all participants and if today’s heat was any indication of what to expectoit’s certainly won’t be a walk inthe park.

Morobe Open winner Lincon Tighe will be looking to cause double trouble atthPNG Open whilethe challenge inthe women’s will be equally contested.
