Countries Arrive for 8th Pacific Water Meet in PNG

The hype for the Pacific Community is still on in Papua New Guinea.

This week Port Moresby will host the eighth Pacific Water Conference and Expo.

Delegates from other Pacific Island nations have already arrived in the country.

The conference will be held under the theme: Sustainable Water Development in the Pacific that aims to create sustainable, clean water for all communities.

State owned Entities Eda Ranu and Water PNG will host the four day event at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Port Moresby.

Countries taking part include Samoa, Niue, New Caledonia, Nauru, Kiribati, Marshall Island, New Zealand, Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, American Samoa and Australia.

Last week the Pacific Island Forum ended on a high note. 

This week will see water agents from the Pacific showcase their products and share ideas to source the best water supply and the best practice to maintain high water standards for the Pacific Island nations.
