Wrapping up round 10 over the weekend, the women’s matches saw, last year’s premiers Spartans take on Sisters in a gruelling match.
The John Larry coached side is looking for another finals appearance.
In game 2, long-time rivals Defence and University both put on a great display of rugby despite both teams missing out on top 4 placing’s.
And an enthusiastic Juggernaut outfit faced a seasoned Nova side in their last match of their maiden year in the competition.
Despite their 7th placing on the ladder, Head Coach, Kila Vename, was optimistic about their performance this year, winning 6 matches out of 11 played.
And in the Men’s Premier matches, Juggernauts went down to Nova, while University dug their snouts an inch deeper to secure a win against minor premiers, Defence on Saturday.
And on Sunday, reigning champs Harlequins cruised over an enthusiastic La Sallian outfit.
Harlequins will take on Spartans in the women’s wash-out match this weekend and coming off a bye, Wanderers will take on University in the Men’s Premier match.
In the Women’s table, Spartans have taken out the minor premiership, while Southern Cheifs, Sisters and Harlies have all secured their spot for the Semi-finals.
While the Men’s Premier division see’s Minor premiers Defence, favourites Harlequins, Veterans University and Waderers all finishing in the top 4.
