A South African evangelist has urged Papua New Guineas to continue uphold its Christian faith.
He is evangelists Andreas Pelser, fromthe New Bern Ministry.
Evangelists Pelser and his team were given a rousing welcome ontheir arrival atthe JacksonsInternational Airport by pastors from different churches.
He was accompanlied by his wife Debbie, his brther John and sister Theresa who will filmthe crusade.
Representttingthe Government was Moresby South MP and Sport and National Events Minister Justin Tkatchenko who welcomedthem tPNG.
“Our People need spiritual guidance in many different ways and with thatthey are also very much God fearing,” says Tkatchenko.
Evangelists Pelser’s first words were: “PNG is blessed, and was happy to sharethe Word of God tothe people of this country.
“God also predestined for a nation called Papua New Guineaand God wants to prosper this nation,” said Evangelists Pelser.
Coordinator Pastor Irimu Kelly sain PNG must continue to maintain its tag as a Christian nation putting God first in everything, starting fromthe Government level.
He said it’s time for the Pastors and LLeadersof this nation to stand togther and focus on evangelism.
Meanwhile,the crusade began on Wednesday night at Jack Pidik Park and will continue inthe remaining three days.
Pastor Irimu encouragesthe public to attend and pray togther for the common good of this nation.
