Madang nominates 296 candidates, among them are 15 women

The Madang electoral office has recorded a total of 296 candidates who registered as of the close of nomination on Thursday afternoon.

15 of them are women; two are contesting the regional seat.

Election Manager, Peter Yasaro, says Returning Officers in the other districts will be submitting their final figures.
