CPL DEVELOPING MEDICAL KITS FOR SARV RESPONDERS

THE City Pharmacy Ltd is developing first aid medical kits for PNG Tribal Foundation attending to sorcery and domestic violence victims in the country.

PNG Tribal Foundation and City Pharmacy Ltd are now working together on prevention and awareness work on Sorcery Accusation Related Violence (SARV) and Gender Based Violence in the country.

Founder and Director of the CPL Group, Sir Mahesh Patel pledged to fully support the work of Tribal Foundation through their two main programs on Senisim Pasin and Senisim PNG.

Sir Mahesh with CPL Management met with PNG Tribal Foundation President Garry Bustin and the staff were impressed with an NGO on addressing SARV and GBV in the country over the years.

CPL is now working through the medical kits for the human rights defenders attending to victims and survivors in the remote volatile areas especially in the highlands provinces and in Morobe.

Some of the challengers faced daily by human rights defenders and the kits will help them assist victims before they reach hospital or aid posts.

Tribal Foundation will be also providing Senisim Pasin Screening, the documentary during the CPL upcoming management conference in Port Moresby this month.

Also, Senisim PNG facilitation session on the Maxwell Foundation leadership program.

Both organizations have agreed to work together going forward.
