The 2015 NCD Governor Christmas Celebration will draw to a close this Sunday.
A spectacular line up of events is schedule for the closing night.
Fireworks display, Christmas carols by candle light and a live band entertainment will take place at various locations, like the Jack Pidik Park at 5 mile, Ela Beach and Vision City.
“The curtain on the 20 night program is this Sunday and I am happy to say it has been a success,” said event manager Numa Alu.
“We have received a lot of feedback from city resident who have been to the activities, saying the security has been guaranteed with no serious incidents”.
Alu said the people who have turned up in big numbers every night have shown their appreciation for what the NCDC is doing under the leadership of Governor Powes Parkop, and city manager Leslie Alu.
He said, it has been Governor Parkops goal since getting into office, to bring back the night space and life to the National Capital District, and we have achieved it through this initiative.
