Locally owned and operated, Paradise Tailoring have continued their support to PNG Touch after their successful campaign in the Touch Rugby World Cup and Pacific Games respectively.
Paradise Tailoring will continue their support by gearing up PNG Touch Rugby athletes with sports apparels in respective international tournamen’s.
The sponsorship is a timely boost to the code.
Both the Men’s and Women’s team bagged gold in the Pacific Games and settled for Silver in the Mix-Open division.
Among the 52 countries that competed in the World cup in April, PNG is now ranked third in the Men’s division, seventh in the Women’s division and third overall.
As part of its Strategic Development Plans, the National Touch Federation has included forging partnerships to secure funding and support from business entities in the country.
The support of Paradise Tailoring will be among the first that PNG Touch have secured, and will hope to further strengthen the partnership over the years.
Paradise Tailoring specialises in manufacturing uniforms and corporate wear and have now set their sights in expanding into manufacturing sports apparel.
The company has manufactured apparels for Hela Wigman and Hagen Eagles franchise from the Digicel Cup, NoVa’and University Piggies Rugby Union Teams.
Spokesperson, Joe Kambian, encourages locally owned business houses to support PNG athletes.
