Air Niugini Cabin Standards Trainer, Elizabeth Talum, observed this unique scenario saying “It was truly beautiful and safe just like the picture here”.
Flight PX 900/901 which departed Port Moresby for Tabubil, Western Province, is recorded in the national airline’s history, operated by the first all-female aircrew led by Captain Beverly Pakii, First Officer, Nicole Koleala and cabin crews, Julie Tamdodo, Ulato Avei and Veapi Ranu.
