Korobosea Cup

Korobosea village started of its first day of the Easter Cup tournament on Friday. Seven teams are participating in the tournament.

The second day of the Korobosea Easter Cup saw all teams prepared to take on their rivals in the courts yesterday. All seven teams were boosted with moral and energy and of course ready to showcase their skills.

The women’s netball game saw the ladies in yellow from Sixdugu take on the ladies in orange from Minogu from the Badili area. It was a tight game as both teams had the skills in defending for their teams. Mrs Helen Arua who is the tournament director said the competition proved that Motu Koitabuan women have the skills and they sure can play.

The tournament is sponsored by the village councilor Degure Goro and it was purposely created to keep youths out of trouble and keep them involved in good and fun.

The tournament is set to continue on until Easter.
