K33 billion is what the New Generation Party leader says is the real level of the countries debt.
Last week the Treasurer Patrick Pruaitch labelled the economy unstable and the Country’s Debt was at K22 Billion.
But Bire Kimisopa says they haven’t calculated the Stated Owned Enterprise Loans yet, and the true number will never be known until the next government is established in August.
But the last time the Prime Minister discussed the country’s economy, he said there was no need to panic and that the economy was fine.
However, Kimisopa says the government has exceeded its fiscal limit and that the economy is under stress.
