Capital Rugby Union Back on Track

Capital Rugby Union Organizers are pleased withthe turnout of teams this season asthe countdown begins tothe FORU cup challenge in July.

Uni Piggies and Harlequins are front runners while more focus is onthe women’s competition for the FORU cup.

This year players fromthe Capital Rugby Union that make upthe Pukpuks will be out to defend its Oceania Championship title. All 13 clubs are hoping to secure a place for their players inthe final squad.

There is a room for improverment in women’s teams as it is one ofthe main focuses ofthe organisers. Six women’s teams are now inthe limelight. 

Coordinators notedthe importance of its merger with Port Moresby Rugby Union, adding thatthey’re hoping for a good season.

Royals and Valley hunters’ teams are left out inthe competition for this season.
