The Berakau Sporting Association launched its Rugby league and Netball seasons on Saturday.
Berakau are inaugural members ofthe National Schoolboys Rugby League Development program and have consistently had players represented inthe Southern Zone and National Elite squads.
PNG Rugby League Foundation CEO, Bead Tassell was part ofthe season launch.
Executives ofthe regional and Berakau Netball association were also present atthe launch which was attended bythe majority ofthe village.
The Berakau Sporting Association expressedtheir desire to affiliate immediately tothPNGRFL.
The Association was presented with rugby league equipment courtesy ofthPNG Rugby League Foundation.
