The PNG Volleyball Federation will host the 2014 Oceania beach Volleyball championships in Port Moresby.
This was announced by the Oceania Volleyball Federation during the Championships in Tahiti this month.
PNG’s participation in the Tahiti tournament cemented the decision to host the event here with the help of the PNG Spots Federation and Olympic Committee.
The PNG women’s team made it to the quarter finals then lost to Vanuatu while the Men went down earlier in the tournament.
This will be the first time PNG plays host to an Oceania Volleyball event.
