Meet Stargroth Amean, an outspoken, humble, 24-year-old who hails from the Enga province, and is the fullback for the SP PNG Hunters.
His passion for rugby league began at an early age, and as the years went by he became better and better.
From the Port Moresby Vipers to the Hunters, Amean has been an integral part of the team since last season.
Apart from his on field success, not many people know that Amean is new to parenthood, having welcomed a son and juggling the responsibilities of a professional career in rugby league and being a father.
As the 2016 season of the Intrust Super Cup is about to begin, Amean is excited for what the new season will bring, and hopes to improve. His dream: to pull on the Kumuls jersey to represent his country.
Since his debut for the Hunters last season, the 24-year-old has grown with confidence and is ready for what his future in rugby league has in store for him.
