UPNG Morobe Students Union President, Greg Guri, is calling on the Morobe Governor, Kelly Naru, and fellow Morobe MPs to join the opposition.
Guri says despite the governor’s announcement that he will not support the opposition nor the government, he needs to join the opposition in the best interest of the people.
The Morobe students who arrived at Nadzab this morning are still adamant to continue the fight, despite the academic year being suspended.
93 Morobe students from UPNG, who were stranded in Port Moresby for two weeks, have finally arrived home.
Through the support of the Morobe Provincial Government they arrived at about 10:55 this morning at Nadzab airport.
Union President Guri told EMTV News that they are now calling on all Morobe MPs to join the opposition.
The 93 students made their last call to the Morobe MPs and the Governor at Nadzab Airport before departing in four 25 seater bus loads.
They travelled down to Lae to meet with representatives of the Morobe Provincial Government, and acknowledged these officers for getting them back home.
