Over the past two weeks, landowners in Hides, Hela Province,, have been under the spotlight following their anger over benefits owed to them by the government.
The landowners claim these payments, particularly in the form of business development grants and royalties have not been paid.
This has resulted in a temporary halt to operations in Hides – the heart of PNG LNG operation.
