PNC Reaffirms Number

The Peoples National Congress and their coalition partners had their official photo-shoot this morning to reaffirm there numbers.

The Alotau camp total stands at 56, and the outgoing Prime Minister and PNC Party Leader, Peter O’Neill, says they are intact, and confident of forming the next government.

This morning at the Alotau International Hotel, where the PNC-led Coalition has camped, a photo-shoot was conducted to show there numbers.

The head count stands at 56, with more candidates expected to arrive this afternoon, according to O’Neill.

At around 12 pm today, PNC Party Leader and the United Resource Party Leader, William Duma, left for Port Moresby.

Meanwhile, security at the Alotau International Hotel is tight with movement in and out of the hotel restricted to only those with access passes.

Supporters of various candidates have been standing outside hoping to see there elected members.

But today, sessions were held to have PNC and coalition party policies put together to form another Alotau Accord.

Mr. O’Neill is expected to return to Alotau with more candidates, this evening.
