For the past one year MVIL has been focused on an expansion program to roll out services to provincial centers. But the focus has now shifted to improving its customer services at its headquarters in Port Moresby.
It has done this by setting up a VIP lounge to ensure efficient and reliable services are offered.
The lounge was officially opened today by the Minister for State Enterprise and Public Investment Minister, Ben Micah.
The VIP customer service has been boosted under this new approach.
The Lounge will now cater for VIP and corporate clients.
Chairman of the MVIL Board of Directors, Dr. Ken Ngangan, said MVIL is strengthening its internal control to prevent any leakages that may result in loss of revenue. He said, MVIL is in a better position than before.
State Enterprise and Public Investment Minister, Ben Micah, urged MVIL to respond proactively to the needs of its clients.
Mr. Micah also emphasized for more awareness on road safety.
Safety should not be compromised and appealed to MVIL and Police to set strong enforcement on the number of passengers travelling on vehicles.
