The Morobe Provincial Executive Council has appointed a team to facilitate negotiations between groups involved in the Bumbu clashes earlier this month.
The primary aim is to ensure that peace prevails, but the team maintains that the community has to hand over those who burnt down houses and committed other serious crimes.
