Former PNG Kumuls and Hunters captain, Israel Eliab, has been named in the London Broncos 28 man squad for the 2016 season.
Head coach Andrew Henderson announced his squad ahead of the Kingston Press Championship. Eight new faces have joined the team, with the latest signing being Israel Eliab.
The team will be led by Fijian captain, Wes Naiqama, and amongst the eight new faces, 20 players have been retained in the squad from the 2015 season.
Eliab joined the team ahead of the 2016 season; with their season to begin on February 7 against Oldham RLFC. Their first home game will be one week after, against Swinton Lions.
The London Broncos team will feature the likes of Ben Hellewell at fullback, Rhys Williams and Illies Macani on the wings, Nathan Stapleton and Wes Naiqama in the centres, and Eliab likely to play at five-eighth alongside halfback William Bartau.
Eliab has had outstanding seasons with the PNG Hunters and moving to the London Broncos could be a great stepping stone for further success in his career.
