A man injured on Tuesday in fighting at Lae’s Bumbu settlement died early Wednesday morning from his injuries.
He was shot in the neck by a gunman during clashes between Morobe and Sepik settlers. This now brings the total number of dead to four in the last three days.
On Wednesday morning police confiscated more weapons and warned that those bearing arms will be shot.
