Prime Minister Hon. James Marape before leaving PNG to Australia yesterday announced William Duma as acting Prime Minister.
“The Honorable William Duma will be the acting Prime Minister in my absence to take care of the businesses to ensure that the executive government has a head in country and the work that is supposed to do in my absence” James Marape said.
Prime Minister will be away for two days attending the 37th Business Forum and Trade Expo in Australia with the new Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
William Duma is the incumbent member for Hagen Open and Minister for State- Owned Enterprise and a senior Politician.
