Digitec PNG is planning on extending its services into Lae and other provinces soon.
The move is to provide a competitive environment in the Information and Communications Technology sector in Papua New Guinea.
This was announced by Digitec’s chief executive officer Nirmal Singl at the opening of Digitec’s new showroom in Port Moresby.
The opening of this new showroom makes a milestone for the ICT company as it only began operating in Papua New Guinea for two years.
However, making profit is not the only focus of the company. Since it began operating in 2012, it has been training locals in ICT and investing in its employee’s welfare.
The new showroom was formally opened yesterday by the NCD Governor Powes Parkop.
It is aimed at providing the ever growing ICT needs of Papua New Guineans through some of the latest technologies it has in store.
The opening was witnessed by Digitec staff and partners including Ricoh Australia.
