Companies in PNG who want joint venture opportunities with overseas counterparts should not missthe comin PNG Advantage 2013InternationalInvestment Summit.
The Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce andIndustry has organisedthe event for 9th and 10th September, to provide opportunities for local businesses.
According to David Conn, Chief Executive Officer ofthe Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce andIndustry,there will be investors and companies from abroad expected attheInvestment Summit.
Mr Conn said local businesses will be able to engage and create dialogue with foreign investors.
Twithter,the world’s fastest growing social media platform will make a presentation duringthe Summit.
Amongst ther visiting key speakers areInternational Finance Corporation’s Vice President for Asia Pacific, Karin Finkelston, Twithter’s e-commerce expert Marie Sornin, and renowned Australian Economist Tim Harcourt.
Speakers froPNG include keynote speaker Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, Bank oPNG Governor Loi Bekani, and a number of Politicians and Business representatives.
It will bethe third consecutive year that this Summit will be hosted.
This year’s Summit will be held atthe Gateway Hotel in Port Moresby. It is dedicated entirely tothe promotion of business and investment in PNG
It will showcase specific areas of opportunity where international and domestic businesses could contribute tothe development oPNG.
